Condemning us to repeat

Condemning us to repeat

The headline read: “Pentagon plans to shrink US Army to pre-WWII level”. It seemed a surreal homage to the past when WWI heroes tried like a son-of-a-gun to forget the horrors of modern warfare as practiced in early 20th century Europe. Then, the worst thing they worried about was the near-silent thud of a mustard gas shell and the yellow cloud slowly wafting its way toward you, trapped in a trench carved out of some poor schlub’s formerly fertile farmland and awaiting your death by asphyxiation brought about by the caustic action of the gas. Those heroes learned; but it looks like we didn’t.

Idiots like John Kerry and Chuck Hagel will obey their orders given by “Fearless Leader” Beaurat Obama to roll back enlistments and minimize the standing Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. This could assure any and all enemies have as little trouble overrunning us whenever they decide they’ll make a move.

To better understand, an enemy is a person who feels hatred for, fosters harmful designs against, or engages in antagonistic activities against another; an adversary or opponent; then there’s the person who is armed by a hostile nation or state or any citizen of such a state. You know; people like China, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, Pakistan, Afghanistan and most of the member states of the United Nations who are displeased with the low level of foreign aid we send them even though they ideologically oppose us and vote against us on many issues. Let’s not forget the citizenry of many Arab nations fostering and harboring agents of organizations declaring their hatred for us and their desire to completely annihilate all of us and our progeny.
So; Congress, Obama, Kerry and Hagel decided to unilaterally denude us of the finest military heretofore ever known.
Thanks guys!
Kerry paid for his own film crew to record his histrionics in Vietnam. All of this was controverted by men stationed in his command and who should know what’s true and what’s not true. None of them hold high office or aspired to it as early as the moment the ink dried on his DD-214 (discharge papers). But Kerry did, and he’s been campaigning with a hard ever since.
Chuck Hagel was awarded two Purple Hearts. He was wounded twice while serving, incurring burn wounds taking years to fully heal. The award is given for wounds received while under fire and in a recognized Combat Zone. Hagel once said: “We are each a product of our experiences, and my time in combat very much shaped my opinions about war. I’m not a pacifist; I believe in using force, but only after following a very careful decision-making process.” He should know better.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
I guess the decision making process will be impacted by self-diminishing resources and armament availability while ignoring the next attack. You know, kind of like Pearl Harbor where political leaders knew the potential for an armed strike by the Japanese and ignored the obvious build-up of Japanese military might in the pacific?
How’s that working out for you Chuck? Does your boss; the Madrasa educated, Marxist/Communist nurtured idealist (as well as his Botox slathered slug Kerry) really believe we don’t see what’s happening?
It’s arguable you’re making it easier and easier to disarm the military and piddle away our resources until we’re as weak as we can be before our ENEMIES decide to press their advantage, an advantage given them by a group initially accepted as idealistic neophytes but are daily becoming more and more understandable as possibly nefarious in their cloaked intent.
Just remember one thing. The largest civilian militia in the world is sitting at home, cleaning personal weaponry and readying for the day some idiot with an agenda launches an attack on American soil and makes the mistake of hanging around to see how long it takes for a general uprising against the attackers. You, your boss and his slug will be placed in the same category as the attackers.
And they don’t issue awards to stupid people cause the shooting to start.
Thanks for listening
