The Horsemen Ride?
Most politicians disgust me. The pandering, the lies and the convenient manipulation of the exact words chosen so they can speak endlessly while saying nothing makes me want to euthanize them. That would be in the sense of putting them out of my misery by whatever means removes them from the spotlight; like maybe dropping that spotlight on them.
We’ve got a real problem with Ebola. Part of it’s based in politicians not knowing anything about Ebola. Obama gets his information from hand-picked “experts”. The information is filtered through a committee of speech-writers charged with putting his thoughts on a Teleprompter® so he looks like he knows what he’s talking about. He doesn’t.
In light of how stupid he looks now, I’d say he should fire Valerie Jarrett and the White House Speech Writers’ pool. Maybe it’s more of a Septic Tank than a pool. Speech writing requires more than being grammatically correct. But in light of Obama’s job market I’d probably accept a paying job spell-checking his latest drivel fest.
Obama has dropped the ball again. This fumble was retrieved by his CDC Director Tom Frieden. Friedan’s run as far as he can in the wrong direction like “Wrong Way Corrigan”. Corrigan was nicknamed “Wrong Way” after he flew from Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, New York, to Ireland, though his flight plan was filed to return to Long Beach, California. How he failed to recognize he was over the Atlantic Ocean and NOT the Great Plains is beyond me. But Friedan can’t get it right either.
Friedan’s continually underestimated Ebola’s threat to the world. He’s down-playing the errors made by his administration. He’s not commanded standardized, proven preventative and precautionary steps were taught to every health worker in Emergency Rooms and Intake/Triage positions in all hospitals across the nation. Friedan keeps stressing Ebola can’t be spread unless in contact with bodily fluids yet we keep finding more and more people being infected.
In Friedan’s efforts to avoid panic he’s allowing infected personnel to enter infected hospital rooms, leave work and travel around the country. They roam freely until they become obviously symptomatic. This disease has a 21 day incubation period. Why are these people not quarantined until 21 days AFTER they’ve treated the afflicted?
There’s been NO real threat of this scale since the Influenza Epidemic of 1918 killed 16 Million people world-wide. It was spread by airborne particulates (sneezing, coughing and expectorated phlegm and sputum). Ebola is allegedly NOT communicable by airborne transmission. That’s great! Huzzah! As long as you don’t “hospital fold” diarrhea ridden sheets and re-use pillow cases vomited on by an infected patient you’re “golden”.
How do we know the Ebola Virus can’t “piggy-back” onto another virus, such as Rhino-Virus (Common Cold), Enterovirus D68 or some other viral juggernaut afflicting mankind? Friedan can’t even tell us how this disease is being allowed to spread even though he assures us it can’t be spread unless the carrier is symptomatic. We can’t diagnose “symptomatic” for 21 days. That’s 21 days a living, breathing disease breeding individual can mingle with the open populace. And immediately upon becoming symptomatic, the carrier infects any and all he may come in contact with. Isn’t a sneeze or a cough a transfer of microscopic, discharged SPUTUM and possibly PHLEGM?
I’m not a great believer of apocalyptic doom and gloom prognostications, but the Bible says in Revelation 6:8: “I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” The four horsemen are “precursors” of even worse judgments awaiting us in the tribulation (Revelation chapters 8–9 and 16).
We’re at war across the world. Famine is a terrible reality in 19 nations on the planet. Ebola is spreading across the world and here at home. The “wild beasts of the earth” are coming out of their natural habitats to challenge man for the food available in human enclaves and neighborhoods.
It does kinda make you wonder.
